Garlic Green Beans with Lemon & Olive Oil
Adding some lemon zest and a drizzle of olive oil is a quick but delicious way to dress up delicate French style roasted garlic seasoned green beans.
2 cans (14.5oz.ea.) Del Monte® French-Style Green Beans with Roasted Garlic, not drained
1 Tbsp. grated lemon zest
1 Tbsp. olive oil
Salt and black pepper, optional
Heat green beans in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Simmer gently 1 minute; drain.
Gently stir in lemon zest. Season to taste with salt and pepper, if desired.
Drizzle with olive oil before serving.
VARIATION: For Lemon Basil Garlic Gren Beans, prepare recipe as directed, except stir in 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil with lemon zest.
