Ingredients

1/2 cup ice cubes (about 4)

1 fruit cup (7 oz.) Del Monte® Escapes Mixed Fruit Sangria, chilled 

2 oz. (1/4 cup) dry, fruity Spanish wine, such as Rioja, Temperanillo, Garnacha 

1/2 oz. (1 Tbsp.) brandy, optional but recommended

2 oz. (1/4 cup) plain or orange seltzer water, chilled

Garnish: 1/2 navel orange slice, small rosemary sprig

Directions

  1. Add ice to a large red wine glass.

  2. Add contents of Escapes cup, wine and brandy.  Stir.

  3. Top with seltzer; stir. Add garnish and enjoy.  Cheers!

TIPS: 

  • Make a pitcher of Sangria:  In a large pitcher (at least 10 cup/2.5 qt.), combine 6 fruit cups, 1 1/2 cups wine and 1/3 cup brandy.  Stir, cover and refrigerate 2 to 24 hours before serving. To serve, add ice to each glass.  Stir Sangria and pour evenly among 6 to 8 glasses.  With a long spoon, divide fruit evenly among glasses.  Add 1/4 cup seltzer to each glass; stir and garnish.  
  • Chill the Escapes cups in the refrigerator at least 2 hours before making cocktails
